COMPANIES ACT 2013: IEPF Rules rolled out

Its been a fortnight that IEPF rules have been in play. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs had, on 05th September 2016, issued a notification declaring 7th September 2016 as the commencement date for the provisions pertaining to unclaimed / unpaid dividends and the transfer of shares pertaining to such unclaimed dividends to IEPF. Accordingly, on 7th September 2016 the MCA issued the most awaited IEPF rules and the forms to be filed.
